13 O' Clock

So was watching my new favorite show, L.A Ink and this one lady really got my attention. She wanted a tattoo of a pocket watch with 13 O'clock on it. Her inspiration behind it was she was always waiting for this imaginary time to begin living her life. She said she wouldn't do things like go dancing, or wear lingerie because she was overweight or other reasons and she was waiting till she was in shape to do anything, always waiting. Then one day an alarm went of in her head and said stop letting her life pass her by and stop being so passive.

It really hit home because that's exactly what I do. I don't go to clubs or go dancing because I'm waiting till I loose weight. I'm afraid to try a new job because I'm afraid I will be horrible at it. I can work really well but it takes me a little longer to learn in the beginning. Hearing her story just makes me really reconsider a lot of things and want to be a better person and more importantly start living my life and stop being afraid.
